It would appear to me that the leaves that are damaged at all are so because of cucumber beetles followed by slug damage. I believe that the Cukers start it off and the Sluggers come in and eat what is already under way. Smart, they are. I typically leave those leaves there because they are easy pickings and the other leaves are contributing to plant size and grower enthusiasm. I use a product called 'Bio Advanced' with Imidacloprid from Loew's and whatever it costs it is worth it, 24-32 oz? for probably 10-12 bucks; 1 TBSP/gallon H2O and I just applied it yesterday to every plant (26 AGs) just a sprinkle each (5-7 sec.) and rest easier for it. Out back, on 13 of them, they were being wrecked by CBs. I gotta get more o' that stuff and water it in fully with my next drenching of water-soluble fert. I am mentioning these things because another grower may have had trouble due to Sevin overuse. Bio Advanced might not be for sale in OH >>> I just found that out...Looking good, and good luck! eric g
