Nice!!! Try this: Don't add K within like 8 ft of the stump... or 4 ft of the section of main before the pumpkin. K is the enemy of calcium which your baby still needs a lot of??? If you soak all of the roots with K right now you could shoot yourself in the foot :( ... What a baby that is!... very nice!

I know the ettiquette on here is to for the smaller growers to not give advice to the bigger growers, sorry:) In my defence this is suggestion is really not coming from me, its really the nutrient theory of the advancing eco agriculture guy talking about critical points of influence. Look them up on YouTube. But yeah, maybe I shouldnt say anything!

I think any advice should be welcome - we are all BIG growers and some who grow bigger pumpkins than others. I too have heard you have to be very very careful with potassium and this relationship to Calcium makes sense as to why. We want to boost fruit growth via K but if we do it at the expense of Ca and cell wall strength/integrity we might end up with disaster with BES or other structural catastrophe.

Uh, Brandon, I seem to remember that you were the Tomato Grower of the Year last year. You are one of the big guys!

Well I could stick to the tomato forum but here's the gist of it and, well, frankly this applies to all fruit: https://m.youtube.com/shorts/ap0WZDfjT30
...There's such a strong urge to add more. I'm struggling with it, too. It goes against my brain to realize that less really can be more. You guys are getting excited... The most sober grower might win!

Brandon, thank you so much for this video link. I just pollinated yesterday and I was about to start adding K to my daily feeds but now I’ll hold off for 10-14 days!!
