Hey Carl hopefully she will snap out of it? Cold nights are the only thing that comes to mind as well causing this. Many years back we noticed that happen here at times to some that "turtled" due to a temperature drop or some other weather event. But who knows just a theory? Just need to figure out a way to snap out of it maybe?

Danny I have never had a plant so huge and the rooting is massive as well . Lots of water and fertilizer . I thought it might not be moist enough but it is . It does a religious 30 lbs daily and that is it . I've had pumpkins doing 50 daily on a plant galf that size . Nothing we can do about the weather . Maybe it will perk up once the plant is filled in and warm august nights kick in

OK hopefully keeps plugging along? Could be the amount of foliage behind it as well and once plant is finally terminated, more growth shifts to pumpkin but not too rapid of course. We're looking at softballs and basketballs here lol, in another heat wave too hot for my liking and farms.
