My pumpkin plant is infested with yellow spotted beetles, anyone know what the best way to deal with them is? i read neem oil and sevin can do the job but im wondering what would be best for the pumpkin plant or if any of you have dealt with the same issue

if you remove flowers that you dont need that will help. You can use a product with bifenthrin and spray weekly at one oz per gallon of water. It's probably the spotted cucumber beetle. Baitman's advice is spot on.

Agreed. They are easier to control than squash vine borers too. A simple contact spray with Bifenthrin will do the job like Ortho Bug B Gone. It's much easier on the leaves than Sevin. I am not sure the effectiveness of Neem on Cuc Beetles.

Neem sounds great, but I would be careful. It is an oil. And oils don't mix well with summer weather.
