A deer took a few good bites out of my pumpkin. I disinfected with alcohol. What can I do to heal this wound?

It might heal fine if you leave it alone or clean it with soap and water or 10% solution of bleach and water. A step up from that level of protection would be to use sulfur powder dusted over the wound OR My go to solution for something like that is to use straight daconil (Bonide Fungonil) and a paint brush. Paint it on the wound and let it dry. Make sure to wash the daconil off before displaying.

That looks like a very large rodent? Well theres a good chance that should heal if kept dry but follow bigmoon's advice if possible.

Similar to big moon I clean with peroxide first then cover with straight daconil

Alchohol, then brush on a dusting of sulfur powder, a fan and some sunlight will help heal it up. Keep it dry as possible

Weigh-off is tomorrow and the wound is clean but not calloused. Any ideas for making the fresh wound more presentable? I was thinking UV light or a quick pass with a heat gun.

I would avoid the heat gun, a fan all day will really help.
