Does anybody know if winter squash can be canned, and if yes,how long will it last?..........

Freeze it and it will turn out better. I bake mine all at once, scrape them out, mix in the brown sugar, butter and about a cup of maple syrup. Blend well. Then Pack in the quart size ziploc freezer bags. Lay flat on the shelf, when they are all frozen stack them up. Tastes like fresh from the Garden in the middle of winter.... Shannon

That sounds great. I am going to try it with pink banana squash. Thanks
