Ill tell ya, I been thinking about this alot this year and thinking about beating my personal best. To be honest, I need ALOT of luck and good weather to beat it(and a 1068 Wallace, lol).
One thing Im hoping don't happen is to put pressure on my self trying to beat what I have grown already, if I do that I don't think I will enjoy myself like I have in years past. There is a lot of luck in growing these monsters and a lot of heartache as well, So to be totally honest I'm just (predicting) hoping for a enjoyable and fun season.

1. several midwestern growers will have 1500+ lb fruit.
2. the current record for squash will stand, however the pumpkin record will fall.
3. the world record will be grown in Pennsylvania from a 2007 seed.
4. I will join the 1000lb club.

Kevin Snyder (TEAM HAMMER)

Kevinstinindians@yahoo.com

I think we'll see a step back in weights if we don't get another extraordinarily long growing season. If we don't we may also not see anyone hit 1600lbs.

My goal is to grow more than one 1000lber.

Ron H

Riverton, WY

I predict one or more of my plants will do something unpredictable after some unpredictable weather has an unpredictable effect on at least one of my unpredictable plants which will in part be affected by my unpredictable work schedule. My largest pumpkin will emerge from one of those unpredictable plants, and my smallest pumpkin will unpredictably emerge from one of my better plants. The pumpkins will go unpredictably heavy or light, leading to an unpredictable result at the weigh off. In other words, I predict pretty much a normal year, and for some reason will enjoy the ride. :-) Happy New Year everyone!
