Eastern Pennsylvania

I would like to see a gpc weighoff in eastern PA but I don't think it's necessary to form a new group. There's no reason to stray from the pack. Picking an existing fair with a long standing weighoff such as Bloomsburg and seeking gpc approval would benefit a grower in my specific geographic location.

If you are looking for close proximity of weigh offs, there are plenty, Bloomsburg Fair, PGPGA weigh off in Altoona, Ohio weigh offs for those on the western border of PA, for those on the northern border we have Elmira NY and Cooperstown NY, all within an hour or two drive from anywhere in PA. Philly area is about the only place I know of that doesnt have a weigh off close but there is one in NJ somewhere every year I read about in here.

Rock don't let him het under your skin...you know them new guys...all talk until they actually try to organize and hold a weigh off. I think some of them think the hardest part is coming up with a name..From the sounds of him you might not want him to join the PGPGA..

Martin what part of PA are you in? Is that south central PA?

There may be a weigh-off in eastern PA next season, probably the week after Altoona, the second saturday of October. It has not been all put together yet and is not guaranteed but it is being worked on.

People believe your a kid marvin because you act like one. If you're an adult you do a poor job representing yourself as one. People are asking you questions because you're new here and they don't know you. If you are just a kid some slack would be given, thats why people wondered how old you were. Respect is earned not given.
