It is offical. the meeting will be in Elk Grove at the Wackford Community complex located at 9014 Bruceville Road on Sat, Feb 9th from 10 to 3 PM. $18. Grower forum and alot of GREAT SEEDS on seed table, raffle and auction.Pete Glasier , West Coast Pumpkin record holder will be there. Nick, in the past they have let us pay at the door but i am sure they appreciate having people preregistered to get an idea of how many folks will be there.

cliff...see if your boss needs to send you to sacramento...it is real real close to elk grove. a major airport within 45 minutes of the meeting. c'mon down! the seeds alone are worth the fare!

I understand that the speaker will be our new California state record holder, Pete Glasier! I'm looking forward to learning what Pete does as he spends an hour per plant each day. Whatever it is, it certainly works. I'd also like to learn the secret of getting a pumpkin to grow bark!

abbypappy says there should be no problem getting you and uncle pete inside a pumpkin that large.
you are not trying hard enough.
id suggest greasing your bodies down and try slipping in again.
failing at that? grow a bigger pumpkin next time lol
once you get to 1,700 lbs all three of us can get in the picture
