I was wondering, Who prefer the hunt/chase/journey to find those seeds that you are looking for?

I have only been on this site for 2 yrs, but in that time I have discovered that hunting for my seeds of prey and sending a bubble and then getting them sent to me is rather enjoyable to me.

To me collecting seeds is like hunting some times I can't find em and other times they are plentiful.

Do others feel this way or am I just a nut? (ok so I am leaving myself open for a slam.)

Let me know what ya think.

Hey Orange, you never have to worry, if a grower on this sit agreed to send you seeds. And you sent a bubble with postage that bubble will ALWAYS arrive before show time.
If you think that's exciting wait till you see them grow.
Good luck in 2008. Kenny

When I look at seeds someone sent me, I don't just see seeds. I feel like someone has shared all their hard work, and their love of the hobby with me!

The best part is when the mail box is stuffed with those big fat bubbles...A way to make some one smile.....I also like sending them out because I know there will be a smile on the other end......

Honored and a lot of pride goes into sending out those bubbles as well Pap. They are very well packaged with a lot of TLC. I can hardly wait for Spring. But the next question is decisions on what to plant. It's going to be a long Winter.

For a newbie grower like me, it warms the heart to see so many growers sending seeds. My first two seasons, I did alot of newbie mistakes processing my seeds, so I virtually have none. It's been great getting seeds in the mail. I'm hoping I can do the same next season in sending out bubbles.

I love getting bubble envelopes with seeds, especially when I was buying them from the local hardware store, Dill's or D. Langavin a few years ago. It (me being a begginer)pumps me up me to grow a pumpkin next year from a wanted seed, or one with a cross everybody wants. I can then offer back some seeds to anybody who would like them.
