yep. it was a root bound plant given to me after my 1st plants froze. set out 5/30 pollinated 7/14 grew a wheel shaped pumpkin to 956 lbs. 11.87 % heavy light color. very aggressive root sytem on the plant.nice growing plant.

Nic Welty is, as far as i know, the only grower that has germinated a 1317. Consider contacting him for advice.

Nic is the one that gave me the 1317 plant that I grew. lol.I think he did say something about them being hard to germinate. email me if you want to get in touch with Nic. I am pretty sure I have a 1317 seed also if you want an extra.
