I had good luck with the 919 Richards last year. I was a first year grower, with one at 500 lbs and another estimated at 819 lbs. Lost it to stem stress not heat.

My second year growing I planted some of Joel Hollands 500+ seeds. At 114 degrees I saw minimal flagging. Someone stole my pumpkins so sorry I only have the growers name.

dougc...no statistical proof, but I would guess that any of the seeds grown in KY. that produced weighable pkns would be at least...sorta...heat tolerant!!! Check out KGPG's auction on 2/9, several KY. seeds on the list!!!

950 boyton, 500 mitchell, 861 and 754 Fedricks seem to handle the heat well. The best remedy for heat is a good cooling system, will produce much bigger fruit even for heat tolerant plants. Jimmy
