Well, it started yesterday morning, At 5 AM yesterday it was plus 3 C or 37 Degrees F, and in the course of the last 24 hours, it has become very windy, snowing and colder. This AM we are at Minus 36 C or minus 33 F. The wind chill is minus 51 C or minus 60 degrees F. And they claim tonight will be colder. Need to bring out the Rum. Eddy

Eddy, Better to get the cold blast now than in Sept. or Oct. Put another log on the fire and pour another Rum. Stay warm.......Clarence

We have it here too. Remember to store the rum where it's warm...it takes too long chipping it out of the bottle with a butter knife and that would be funny if I had never done that!

We're balmy here. It's only -47 with the wind chill. When I took my son into his hockey game at noon, it was +4. Two and a half hours later, it was -16. This isn't fun. Does Rum go with hot chocolate? I think I'm about to find out. Alan

Sure is a major one, Anyway the stay home and stay warm drink mix is 2 ounces Appleton Rum 2 Ounces Coconut Rum 2 ounces Spiced Rum 2 ounces white Rum 2 ounces dark Rum
Warm on the stove with 1/2 cup honey, and drink total contents in 5 minutes, DO NOT GO OUTSIDE When you wake up you will be too sick to worry about the cold, and by the time the flue like symptoms pass the storm should be over. Repeat as Necessary Eddy

Now this is funny, I just did a Don, lol After I read Andy's post, I took out a 26 of Rum, and put in the direct weather, and It broke, lol. The Rum froze and expended enough to break the glass. So 2 hours, to freeze Rum. Anyway going out side now to eat snow cones Eddy
