that escape from a sack by manning and circus catch down the field on the game winning drive was the play of the game-possibly the entire history of the super bowl.

it was a fantastic game. kinda reminded me of super bowl 25 when the giants beat my favored bills with better game planning and execution

hats off to the giants. there defense was relentless and changed bradys mind set and accuracy.

NOT giving them time to throw the ball was the Giants "GIANT" plan! To say they "just" needed more time to throw could be said for a lot of teams all season. Maybe there would have been quite few 18-0 teams. No excuses..Giants whipped their butts!

It'll be analyzed and second guessed for years to come.
I've always felt that any one team could beat another in this league if everything clicked. It did for the Giants. I don't think the Pats folded...the Giants just seemed to want it more. Still a good season for the Pats, just not good enough.
Next year they need to loose a game in the regular season to take the pressure off, then win the Super Bowl.

i can feel your pain after watching my team loose four super bowls in a row. ya it really hurts-bad

I am a Pats fan but...
It seemed obvious to me, from the beginning, that one team showed up to win and the other team "thought" they would win by showing up. The Pats looked like they stayed out all night tailgateing. This game will be known in New England as the "Bill Buckner" of football. A great baseball player who will only be known for that one ball that rolled between his legs. Going 18-1, awesome year. Going 18-1 and losing the Super Bowl? Well, there is always next year.
