thank you all for the kind words

we were sure to return all bubbles so if you sent one and it made it here we have filled it. the last mailings went out a couple days ago.

a word of caution however
some of the self addressed bubble packs did not have postage and some that did, did not have enough.
please be sure in the future to cover the postage, thats all we ask.

please also send a respectable bubble to return your seeds in.

our best to everyone in 2008

pap and ron

I Have to say Pap, you two guys have never been stingy with your seeds , even with low seed counts you and Ron will try to give them out to who ever wants them.

Good point on the shortage or lack of postage Pap. We didnt get very many bubbles here this year but it still cost us over $20 out of our pumpkin budget to add postage to those bubbles that were lacking. I can only imagine what extra $ some of the heavy hitters get stuck with! I know that most are just common mistakes and I happily covered the extra postage.
What does drive me crazy is when a bubble shows up without even a simple note. Just a bubble, none of their seeds, and usually from someone you have never heard of or ever talked to! Come on guys, take 10 seconds to write something..... "Hey I would like some of your seeds if you have any to spare. Thanks, your name here". Maybe its just me that thinks its wrong?????

With the jump in the cost of sending this year it may have confused some people. I know i sent bubbles out to some and the post office lady told me it would be $0.80. I tossed on 3 stamps ($1.23)for good measure and sent them out only to come on here a couple of days later to read we should be putting on $1.30 (I had just send them out with $1.23 on them). but all of mine came back fine.

P.S. Mike Frantz, I saw that you put an additional $.02 on for postage for my bubble to come back to me. Thanks, I appreciated it, and sorry...... You'll be getting that back in the bubble next year .... LOL.

David.

You know pap, I never had really thought about it but you're right. When I am in the patch working is probably the only time my mind IS NOT on all the other problems in life. I guess it's just another plus of growing giant pumpkins!
Insane hobby??? Heck maybe it keeps me SANE!!!! lol
