My school hasnt had a state champion since 1987 that was Alan Foster he had a time of 15:51.6 in the 5K race which is 3.1 Miles.
My long term goal is to end this streak of my school not having a state champion and win state.I have 2008-2010 to do this in if I make it to state every time.If I can I am also goign to try and break that 15:51.6 time. Mabe 15:30 to 14:10. I just feel its about time Aloha High School gets a state champion again.
Thanks!
Jordan

Cool Jordan....I ran cross-country and track in college. Giant pumpkins and long distance running both take dedication and perseverence. Best wishes!

Jordan I ran X country and out of those 2 years we went to state once and placed 2. Unfournantly I wasnt on the varsity 5 but was one of the alternants. So I know what it is like to run and run for a specific goal. So as you know train hard and don't let anyone tell you it can't be done. Oh my end of the season time for 3.2 mi was 16.48. GOOD LUCK

good luck jordan, Remember High altitude training helps you become better runner. CU cross country does this and it works

Interesting. I ran CC in high school and my daughter is now doing the same. Can't get her interested in gardening, however. Here in the Pocatello area, we sometimes host major CC meets that draw runners from all over the northwest. Let me know if your team ever comes to a big meet over here.

I used to be on the cross country ski team, I remember hills at the end of the run were a killer, also eat right, you got to eat good,,and eat a pasta dish the night before you compete, and have a recording of chariots of fire, or rocky's theme going on in your head. Good Luck
