Growing two: 1423 wallace (1068wallace X 1041mckie) and 1350 wallace (1068wallace X 998pukos) that's the way it looks right now. There ready to grow, I held one seed of those out, got it to close to the ground and it almost blew my fingers off, the shell exploded off the seedling, almost blew my thumb and first fingers completely off, it dam near jumped in the dirt started growing by itself, in the winter.

These are what will be in my patch. Itsa toss up, any one or ALL of them WILL produce my personal best. I'm only at 608 so that shouldn't be too hard. ;)

You better be sweattin the OVGPG weigh off this year Brook's. LOL

1450 Wallace
1402.5 Bosworth
1207 Young
1096.5 Privitera
1306 Jutras

I'm torn between giving patch space to the 1207 Young or the 1306 Jutras.
I'm leaning towards the 1306 which was my original plan. I may save the 1207 for a future project using different combinations of the 1370 Rose and 1068 Wallace.

My back ups for this year:
1081 Leonzi 05 (845 Bobier X 898 Knauss)
300 Jutras 06 (842 Eaton X 1225 Jutras)

A lot of guys are growing the 1110 Wallace this year, its going to be interesting to watch how that seed does.

I also think the 1502 Wallace we will see a lot more dirt this year, I think a lot of growers where waiting to see how this seed did last year. I don't think this seed has seen its full potential yet, what do you guys think?

Haven't heard to many guys talking about the World Record seed the 1689 Jutras, I think there will be a lot of growers grow this seed as well this year, just haven't heard that much talk about it. Be interesting to see the color it produces.

Another seed Im curious about is the 1317 Rose, that was a massive tall orange fruit and one of the prettest pumpkins I have seen personally last year.

I think, you can't get anymore proven seeds that the 1423 wallace, it has the 1068 wallace in it, the best seed ever, crossed with 1041 Mckie, proven,1631 pounds last year,,,1350 Wallace, which is 1068 wallace, the #1 proven seed again, with the 998 Pukos, which holds the world record at 1689,,the only one that could be possibly better is the 1662 young, which had no seeds.....that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I do Kirk, nice line up there buddy.
I also think we are going to see a lot of the 998 x 1041 crosses next year.

This pumpkin growing keeps getting better and better every year, I think this is why its so hard for most guys to take a year off, afraid there gonna miss something, lol.

1402.5 "Son of Beast" Bosworth... aka the chainbreaker
1048 Rahe (selfed 1450)
1297 Ghaye (selfed 998.6)
1174 Ghaye (selfed 1502)

I've already had problems with the 1402. I let it roam around outside until I heard a police report indicating that pets and livestock in the area where being reported as missing...It's now inside with 2 logchains around it!!
