I have had to pull a plant due to bacterial wilt. Should I allow the neighboring plants to use that space or keep them out of it. It's unclear to me if soil transmission is possible |

You should be ok to let them go over the spot, the main vector is the cucumber beatle which carries it over the winter and injects it into the plant when it feeds. |
