This year I was growing some test FPs and noticed 2 male flowers where the stem are attached (https://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=357511). What would happen if they were females? I have seen growers grow over 3000 pounds of pumpkin on one plant but in 2 pumpkins had I culled one (if they were females) does that mean a bigger pumpkin because it’s two stems attached? I don’t know.

Typically they split from the two different fruit growing differently. I have had a few field pumpkins make it.
