Hi
Ive been battleing this weed for years. Its especially aggressive this year. I posted a pic in my diary..Jeffp (should show up shortly)
This thing has nodes/tubers that if any are left it regrows double the next year. 24d/trichlophr/original roundup kills the plant but doenst affect the nodes. Any thoughts other than pulling it..which ive been doing.
Thanks

It may be this plant but if not, do search onward.
There seems thus far to be NO way to fully get rid of it.

Does it get purple flowers? If it does then it mught be a type of creeping thyme which I think is an imported herb that spreads and reseeds like crazy, I have seen whole lawns destroyed by it and if any of your neighbors have it, then it will be a forever battle

It's natural enemy is wild boars... Maybe some kid doing a 4H project can lend you their pig? I'd plant a tall dense cover crop and try to smother it. Peas, buckwheat, oats? Even the toughest weeds will fail once they are consistently smothered. Just some ideas, I haven't dealt with it.

I had three pigs in my pumpkin greenhouse the entire winter and they got rid of all the bindweed and couch grass.
