Hello all, new member here! Hugh Wiberg, who some of you may remember, was my uncle (should I admit this?). I'm wondering, and tell me if this is a pipe dream, whether anyone might have or use seeds from a line of his? My son has land and wants to start growing big pumpkins, and he knew and loved my uncle as a little kid. I thought it would be amazing to find (buy) some seed from a related line. Appreciate responses of any kind. Thanks very much and good luck to all growers this season!

Hi Tim, Your uncle was very instrumental in getting many of us in this area. Also a founder of the GPC which is our governing international body. Getting seeds with that linage so many years later with all the new genetics involved may be next to impossible. Give me a call if you want more info and growers in this area will be honored to help in any way we can. My cell is 978-407-2616 Thanks Woody Lancaster Your GPC Area Rep.

Sure do remember Hugh. He was a great guy and he really helped shape the sport/hobby to what it is today.
I will check to see if I have any seeds from the Cone-Wiberg line. Not sure you could get them to germinate though.
