Okay my bad I knew I needed to get some daconil on the plant but I did not get it done on time. So I now have a few leaves showing the problem. I will spray it tomorrow is it better to remove the infected leaves or just spray down the whole plant. and one question I have been looking foe captan is that now illegal too.

I suggest Mildew Cure from Holland's Land O' Giants. I recommend it whenever I can but I've yet to see any comments of it being used. All I know is that it WORKED, it naturally smelled like a Garlic Pizza and I had enough of it left to 'think about' using it a second time that year, in 2020. I have overhead Whizzer sprinklers, exclusively and that year I also used a garden hose with a trigger sprayer handle on it to REALLY get good coverage - it was fun! I also grew my biggest pumpkin ever on that 2003 Haist plant, my 940.6. No need to remove any leaves - once treated, they're back in business. https://landogiants.com/products/gc-cure Good luck finding out what you wanted to and I hope this helped. eric g

Thanks Eric will check it out. Just moved here and found some seeds and pumpkin equipment that I had not seen in years and put in a test plant to see if I could grow here. Very rusty and missing a lot of all I need but will continue to make a patch it will be years before I have the soil I need but I'm back at it. Have a great day! grow em big . Chuck

I’ve used neem oil for a few years now and it absolutely works. I have one very large squash plant, 8 ornamental pumpkin plants and 3 long gourd plants and no PM. Noticed a few spots a few days ago, cut a couple of leaves and sprayed again. Every 5-7 days, cheap and easy.
