I've sent a online application to Guinness world records to attempt to break the record for the heaviest cantaloupe ever. Starting May sixth to the month of August and September depends how long it takes to grow and the application is under review from Guinness world records.

does that mean i should send an application to guinness to attempt to break the record for pumpkin, tomato and carrot. Good luck...attempting is easier than succeeding.

oh boy. why don't you attempt to grow a state record first. then expand your horizons from there Nathan. I think you had trouble with the public garden plot didn't you?

I like your enthusiasm, I hope you do well. Don't take this the wrong way, but 59 lbs is the biggest i've grown in 7 years. The record is 64.8 lbs and was grown 12 years ago. I'm shooting for 65 lbs this year, i'd like to know how your season goes.

Well bigmelons I've already attempted a stare record for the cantaloupe and ur right about the public plot part of the issue was people got hold of the cantaloupe and threw it in the street and I'm now moving the plot a different part

So you are still gonna grow in a public plot? Why would you not do it at home?
