I'm going to try to post something here once a week. Things that I come across that I think are interesting. There may or may not be a theme, just things that you might like. Here's the first installment:

Thank you for thinking of us, Andy!

So, what this article is *really* saying is that I should get a microscope and figure out how to use it. I've had that thought for some time prior to you posting this article. Thanks again!

Great information. That is very interesting and amazing stuff. The following our my thoughts.
Because agriculture is thousands of years old and because for much of the past 100 years "scientists" and universities have seen it as a simple linear process, like math or engineering. We have really missed out on a lot of valuable time that could have been spent trying to understand how amazingly complex these soil plant relationships are. In the late 1900's we used to talk about travel to space and exploring the universe and now we talk about green energy generation or Artificial intelligence as the holy grail of scientific advancement.
The truth is that it is humbling how little we know about the actual workings and functioning of plants and their relationship to the soil. It is as great a mystery to uncover as any other.

Sam Knowlton seems like a fascinating guy to learn from. I had never heard of him. I clicked on his twitter page he had this posted I thought it was pretty smart.
Wendell Berry sums up our current health predicament perfectly...

“People are fed by the food industry, which pays no attention to health, and are treated by the health industry, which pays no attention to food.”

Very smart big moon! All my wife gets is organic as she can if not grown by the local farmers market. The amount of chemicals fed to the plants we eat is huge!

This is a whole new topic is so massive.

Yep, why we think we are ready to live on mars or the moon mystifies me when we dont even understand the basics underpinnings of life here on earth.
