Found and interesting white film last fall on our house plants after sprinkling a few coffee grounds on the soil surface. HUH come to learn the fungi is primarily a Trichoderma strain.

Wow, man - I came back to closing this and realized I've been looking at cover crops (TOO expensive at the moment) and about 3 hours have passed and I did not find a cheap Dutch White Clover (you cannot find as cheap as I want, lol) and this article is very interesting in that there is a natural, available soil additive that suppresses Phytopthera and Sclerotinia, two major adversaries of the AG. They kept saying 'sterilized' SCG (Spent Coffee Grounds) but I'm sure that for us, still-useable Maxwell House CG would be beneficial, lol---eg
