Well you enjoy banging rocks with a hammer in the backyard in search of that elusive hope(see what I did there) while pondering the means to the success of a PB, Godspeed!

I should say this is the oldest rock layer underlying the John Day fossil beds in Oregon. But they have found no fossils in it. I didn't see any fossils either... According to them its 80 or 90 million years old so it's the only layer that would have dinosaurs. Thats the backstory on this pic.
