How long have you grown that? How many years did it take til first fruit? Goodluck, im not happy about the future temps either

It's only about three to four years old. Which in my opinion is the peak bearing age for a peach or nectarine.

I bought the deluxe size from gurneys it fruited the second year.

Cool tree. You could try wrapping some of the buds for the night as a possible localized solution. I'd be curious to see if that would work in those spots.
