I've been reading about pesticides that poke holes in the gut of insects. We use them on our crops. And we think "well, we are better and stronger than bugs , so it wont affect us!" We always think we are too strong and smart to be affected by anything. Only the lesser creatures will be killed by our poisons. That is what we tell ourselves.
I think the problem is we most people do go through a phase of life where they are very strong and seemingly immune. I rarely hear people admit that they aren't one bit stronger than a bug. But I will admit it. I'm not one bit stronger than a bug. So keep your dang sprays away from me, Big Agriculture.
I think my beekeeping work exposed me to it directly and I can assure everyone that we are not immune to this stuff but we're just too cheap or to stupid to realize it.
