Things are getting frustrating today. Today turned out to be a big blow. Yesterday I lost a secondary then today I lost another one due to a squash vine larva worm inside the vine was totally destroyed. Then! after the pumpkin on the main vine there was damage on the vine due to a SQUASH VINE worm. We had to make a decision. We could cut the vine off or we could keep the vine on and inject liquid seven to kill the worm. We made the decision to take it off because we though the worm was in there and if we kept it on the liquid seven may of not even killed the worm. We took the vine off and looked for the worm. No signs anywhere! so is even more frustrating because we could of kept the main vine on because there was no larva worm in there but we dident know. But we took it off. In total I lost about 6 secondary's that where on the main vine and other secondary's that just had to be pulled from serious splitting that was unknown what caused it. It could of been a squash vine larva warm but I don't think that is what caused it. It was just a cracked secondary. So 2 vines where destroyed by those damn squash vine larva worms . The main and 1 secondary'. the rest of the secondary's where on the main past the pumpkin where the larva destroyed the vine so those has to come off too then the secondary that was split. Today was he worst day yet. And this all happened on 1 plant with the big pumpkin on it.
