Trying to get the weed seeds to germinate then I will smother or solarize them. This is the area that was under the plastic in the previous photo. Very dead. I accidentally left some garlic on the ground and its roasted garlic now (and it smells delicious.... Slow roasted at a relatively low temp. which is an actual cooking technique for really delicious garlic.) But the point here is that it got hot enough to kill everything on the surface. No weed killer used.
